Last year, Hutchinson became the first Kansas town to proclaim to be,
"Smallville, Kansas - The Home of Clark Kent". For a day, we were known as Smallville.
In 2014, our town will make the same proclamation....for FOUR days.
To celebrate this anniversary (which is also the anniversary of Clark Kent/Superman being inducted in the Kansas Hall of Fame), we have created the first Smallville, Kansas Festival.
So...after you go to the Superman Celebration, in Metropolis (June 12-15), continue the fun by visiting "The REAL Smallville, Kansas"!!
It is the mission of SMALLVILLEKANSAS.ORG to become a non-profit, in the near future. It is also
our mission to make this festival a fun filled time to remember our REAL HEROES and give back to local
charities. Every dollar we make from SMALLVILLE, KS FESTIVAL items, donated ART, and concession proceeds from our concert events will be given back to our community. This year, we will be giving to these non-profit organizations: FOOD BANK OF RENO COUNTY, BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF RENO COUNTY, DOWNTOWN HUTCHINSON, THIRD THURSDAY, and CATSNIP.

FRIDAY (JUNE 20):

- Smallville themed items for auction (proceeds go to Boys and Girls Club!! and Downtown Hutchinson)
- Honoring of our LOCAL HEROES
- TEN BANDS, including: Untapped Market, Black Wall Monument, Izreal, Felicia Garcia, Stephone Johnson & Mike Game, The Joy Coughs, Without Sacrifice, The 33's and Earth to Matilda.
